Who is responsible for your data

What we collect
We collect only the email address you give us if you subscribe to the Weekly Dispatch newsletter. We also keep standard server logs: IP address, browser type, the page requested and a timestamp. These logs are kept for 30 days for security and abuse prevention only.
What we do not collect
We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking or analytics that identify individuals. We do not profile readers. All content on the site is free, so we never collect payment information.
Legal basis for processing
We process your email address on the basis of consent, given when you subscribe. You can withdraw that consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter or by contacting us directly.
How long we keep your data
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe. Server logs are deleted after 30 days.
Sharing and international transfers
We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing or any other purpose. Data is processed by our hosting provider, Vercel, and our database provider, Supabase. Both act as processors under data processing agreements. Both may store data in the United States, protected by standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Under GDPR and equivalent laws, you have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, and to ask us to restrict or stop processing it. You also have the right to object to processing and to complain to your national supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address above.
Children
This site is not directed at anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
Cookies
The site does not require cookies. If a future feature needs one, we will ask for your consent first.
