Dyadic International, which operates as Dyadic Applied BioSolutions, has recruited an unidentified European biotechnology company to develop and license more dairy proteins produced through precision fermentation. Under the agreement described by vegconomist, Dyadic could receive development and commercialization payments, licensing income and other proceeds if products reach the market.
The central finding is that the project remains preliminary. Dyadic has not reported receiving cash from this program or completing a commercial launch, according to vegconomist, leaving its eventual commercial contribution undetermined.
The partners will use Dyadic’s Dapibus microbial fermentation platform, which can draw on established industrial fermentation capacity to make recombinant proteins and enzymes, vegconomist reported. The arrangement joins a portfolio that includes recombinant bovine chymosin commercialized with Inzymes ApS and recombinant bovine alpha-lactalbumin being developed alongside BRIG BIO, according to the publication.
Several material details remain unresolved. Vegconomist did not identify the European partner, specify the proteins covered, disclose financial terms or provide a market timetable. For wider context, the publication reported that Dyadic announced collaboration milestone payments involving Inzymes ApS and Proliant Health & Biologicals in October 2025, before expanding manufacturing work with Fermbox Bio in December 2025.
